  • Description: Preeti Maske, an Indian cyclist from Pune, began long-distance cycling in her 40s, gradually turning a recreational activity into a competitive pursuit. Between 2022 and 2023, she achieved five Guinness World Records, including completing the Manali-Leh highway in 55 hours and 15 minutes. She has undertaken several long-distance rides across India, including the route from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, as well as an unsupported ride from Bhutan to India via Nepal, covering 1,803 km (1,120 miles) in 10 days, 18 hours and 40 minutes. Her activities also include awareness campaigns, particularly on organ donation

Fastest west-to-east crossing of India by bicycle (female)

Preeti Maske (IND) rode between the states of Gujarat and Arunachal Pradesh in 13 days 18 hr 38 min, ending on 15 Nov 2022. She used her 3,954‑km (2,457‑mi) trek to raise awareness of the ReBirth Foundation, which promotes organ donation. Maske also holds the north-to-south record – 11 days 22 hr 23 min – achieved on 24 Feb 2023 when she arrived in Tamil Nadu, at the southernmost tip of the country.
