• Description: Tom Denniss is an Australian athlete and scientist, best known for running around the world between 2012 and 2013. Starting from Sydney, he covered approximately 26,232 km (16,300 mi) across 18 countries and 5 continents in 622 days, averaging more than a marathon per day. The feat, recognized as a world record, also served as a fundraising initiative for humanitarian causes
