TWO ON MOTORCYCLE HERE ON WORLD TOUR; Students Started From Budapest in 1928 -- Have Visited 43 Lands and Gone 65,000 Miles.

Two Hungarian students arrived here yesterday on the motorcycle that has carried them through forty- three countries and many American States. Their world tour started from Budapest in August, 1928, and they have covered about 65,000 miles. The travelers, Zoltan Sulkowsky, 27 years old, and Gyula Bartha, 28, plan to stay here two weeks, then leave for Mexico and South America, whence they will sail home.

Their trip has not lacked thrills. They told of having been chased by Bedouins on the Syrian Desert, of having outdistanced a pack of wolves on the frozen tundras of China, of having barely escaped capture by Chinese bandits, of having fought off animals in Sumatra's jungles, and of having been lost three days in the Australian bush.

They have been greeted by Mayors and Governors; received gifts from Princes, and dined with Asiatic royalty. Their motorcycle has a side car. Generally they stop overnight at hotels, but they carry a camping outfit which they use in sparsely settled regions.
