Juvenile globetrotter visits city. Jimmie Erickson, age 13, juvenile globetrotter of the world, paid the city a visit last evening. Jimmie’s home address is Crookston, Minn. He has just paid his native home a visit. A month ago he bid his Frisco friends a hasty “good-bye” with the promise he would return in ninety days’ time. He is apparently going to make good his promise, for in two days he has traveled one-fifth the distance to his rendezvous.

His ability to get over the road is remarkable. Were you a traveler in the West and saw him here today, he would likely surprise you in Seattle upon your arrival there. Jimmie is a manly-looking young gentleman. Though you would not take him for a son of the idle rich traveling incog, you would be led to believe, nevertheless, that he does not want for a great deal in his travels about the country. He has visited every state and large city of the Union in about two years’ time. He has spent a most pleasant winter in California, where he hopes to remain during the Pan-American Exposition. He has not made it known just how long he will remain in the city, for he wishes to see several friends whom he knew when he was real small, before starting again toward the Pacific.
