Man, wife and dog hike afoot from Seattle
Special Dispatch to The Call
PETALUMA, Oct. 8.—Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Aitchley, drawing their tiny wagon loaded with the few necessaries for their trip and accompanied by their dog Peggy, have arrived in Petaluma after having walked the entire distance from Seattle. They are en route to San Francisco. The hike was begun June 12 and was primarily for the benefit of their health, with no attempt at record breaking. Although past middle age the couple have stood the trip well.
